Exchange / Replacement Re-manufactured items policy before 30 days:
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. We accept a one-time exchange before 30 days. The item must be returned in the same exact condition it was shipped. Any water corrosion, burnt parts in the motherboard, overheated components will result in rejection of the exchange. If an exchange was claimed, there will be No deductible fees, however there will shipping costs on the customer.
Exchange / Replacement USED Programming Service Policy before 30 days:
We accept a one-time service exchange before 30 days, this goes for Services such as USED DME Programming. If an exchange was claimed, there will be $99 deductible fee plus shipping costs on the customer.
Store credit for Re-manufactured items before 30 days:
If you still don't need the Re-manufactured item because it did not solve your problem, or still have the same fault codes, or you feel you have been mis-diagnosed by your local dealer, don't worry, we have you covered. You will be eligible for a full store credit minus shipping costs. Store credit will be void if you have used an exchange or a store credit previously to the same order. If a store credit for remanufactured items was claimed, there will be No deductible fees, however there will shipping costs on the customer.
Store credit for USED Programming Service items before 30 days:
If you have purchased our used programming service and feel like this did not solve your problem, or still have the same fault codes, or you feel you have been mis-diagnosed by your local dealer, don't worry, we still have you covered! You will be eligible for a full store credit. A store credit will be voided if you have used an exchange or a credit previously to the same order. If a store credit for programming service was claimed, there will be $99 deductible fee plus shipping costs on the customer.
Product replacement under warranty after 30 days:
If a 1 , 2 or 3 years warranty claim has been opened after 30 days, there will be a $99 deductible along with shipping costs and you get a one-time replacement. Your 1 year warranty will still stay valid even if you exchanged a product within the first 30 days. After the 30 days, you still have 335 calendar days to replace an item. For example: If a customer bought a 1 Year warantied DME, and he/she asked for an exchange within the first 30 days, then we granted an exchange, and let’s say, 7 months down the line his/her Remanufactured unit failed, they can still open a warranty claim. Simply because the first 30 days are qualified under exchanges and not warranties.
Shipping under warranty:
RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. does not cover shipping under any circumstances. A total of $60 shipping fee is always applied for Exchanges / Returns / Store credit / Warranties.
RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. does not accept returns on any electronic components whatsoever. Kindly determine whether you need a Used DME Programming Service or a RMFD product before making the purchase. If you are not sure, please get in touch with our technical support team in case of hesitation between the two services.
RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. warrants that all its units will be free of any defect in materials or workmanship for the period of (1) year. Warranty begins from the date of shipment from the RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. facility. The warranty is extended to customers and applies to all RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. remanufactured equipment purchased, installed, and used for the purpose for which such equipment was originally designed for. The above warranties cover only defects arising under normal use and do not include malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, water damage, alteration, problems with electrical power, usage not in accordance with product instructions, acts of nature, or improper installation or repairs made by anyone other than RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. reserves the right to substitute functionally equivalent new or serviceable used parts.
1 - During the applicable Standard Equipment Warranty Period outlined above, customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of the Standard Equipment Warranty will be, at RPM MOTORSPORT’s sole discretion and option, the repair or replacement of the defective product. Components that customer claims to be defective must be available to RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. for inspection and evaluation. To be entitled to rights under the Standard Equipment Warranty, the customer must notify RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. in writing within thirty (30) days after discovering a suspected defect in any product, but in any event prior to the expiration of the applicable Standard Equipment Warranty Period. Following its receipt of any such customer notice, RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. will determine whether the reported problem is covered by this Standard Equipment Warranty. If RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. determines that the problem is covered, RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. will authorize repair or replacement of the defective product, as deemed appropriate by RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. in its sole discretion.
2 - Before shipping any product to RPM MOTORSPORT LTD., the customer must obtain a written return authorization from RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. and
provide any proof of warranty eligibility requested by RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. Any product received by RPM MOTORSPORT without a return authorization may, at RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. option, be returned to the customer to collect. Once a return authorization is obtained, the customer is responsible for packing and shipping the product/component to which its warranty claim relates to the RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. facility. Upon receipt of replacement equipment (or part thereof), customers have thirty (30) days to tender the defective equipment (or part thereof) to the return carrier for shipment to the RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. facility. If customer does not timely return the defective equipment (or part thereof), RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. shall invoice the customer for the list price of such equipment (or part thereof), plus applicable shipping. Such failure to return the equipment (or part thereof) may, in RPM MOTORSPORT’s discretion, be grounds for termination of the warranty and/or suspension of any future advance exchange privileges until such outstanding defective equipment has been returned.
3. RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. will provide customer with new, rebuilt, refurbished or alternate equipment (or part thereof) of equal or improved quality, as exchange equipment (or part thereof) to replace eligible defective equipment (or part thereof). Any alternate equipment (or part thereof) will meet or exceed the specifications of the replaced equipment (or part thereof). Rebuilt or refurbished equipment may bear cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance. Unless otherwise specified by RPM MOTORSPORT LTD in writing, repaired or replaced equipment (or parts thereof) are covered only for the remainder of the term of the applicable Standard Equipment Warranty. All defective equipment (or parts thereof) replaced by RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. become the property of RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. RPM MOTORSPORT has no obligation to (i) service, exchange or otherwise replace any equipment (or part thereof) that has been damaged, modified, abused, water damaged, or misused as determined by RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. (ii) paint, refinish, refurbish, restore or exchange any equipment (or part thereof) with cosmetic blemishes; (iii) service, exchange or otherwise replace any equipment (or part thereof) if the same would interfere with, impede or be redundant with normal or scheduled maintenance of such equipment (or part thereof); or (iv) provide any 3rd party application software support or service involving application hardware or replace any accessories. If RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. elects to perform any such services at customer’s request, then such services will be deemed a service call and all labor, parts and materials used for the service call will be charged at RPM MOTORSPORT’s then prevailing rates.
EQUIPMENT WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
RPM MOTORSPORT LTD. does not warrant or guarantee, and is not responsible for:
1. Defects, failures, damages or performance limitations caused in whole or in part by (A) power failures, surges, fires, floods, snow, ice, lightning, excessive heat or cold, highly corrosive environments, accidents, actions of third parties, or other events outside of RPM MOTORSPORT’s control, or (B) customer’s abuse, mishandling, misuse, negligence, improper storage, servicing or operation, or unauthorized attempts to repair or alter the equipment in any way.
2. Alterations and/or Modifications to any part of the product, without RPM MOTORSPORT’s written authorization unconditionally VOIDS the RPM MOTORSPORT LTD Standard Warranty.Opens external website in a new window.
