BMW E38 (7 Series) ME5.2.1 Remanufactured ECU 05/1997 to 09/1998

Product Information

This is a Re-manufactured ME5.2.1 DME (ECU) 7 Series E38 or 740i with a M62 Engine Manual Throttle Body. 

We can send this ECU with the following Options:

• Un-programmed or Coded (Factory Default).
• Programmed and Coded (DME - EWS Alignment Required).
• Programmed, Coded and Aligned to your EWS and Keys. (Shipping Required).
• Completely Unlocked (Plug and Play).

Please Note: If you purchase the "Unlocked" option then you will need to leave the EWS removed and short pins 1 and 2 in the EWS female plug with a 25 or 30 amp fuse and then also short pin 8 and pin 11 (12 volts) so that the engine can crank. We use a hardware component in the DME to unlock it. For 0261204467 DMEs there is NO way to unlock them in the software only.
