Fuse Related No Crank No Start Issue: BMW 540i / 740i / 750i Years 1995 to 2002

Are you experiencing a no crank no start issue with your BMW 540i, 740i, or 750i (years 1995 to 2002)? You may have an issue with a blown fuse that is a simple fix but sometimes difficult to narrow down. We thought we would help out the BMW community by providing some information on this topic to help diagnose this issue and spread the word.

In this vehicle there are a number of fuses under the passenger seat that not many people know about. In some cases the passenger seat may need to be removed in order to access these fuses. You will have to check both ends with a test light and make sure ignition is on, or you can also use a multimeter to check for continuity.
